1. Daily Cleaning (Every Day Before Shutdown)
1) Wipe the inner cavity of the chamber with a dry soft cloth to remove material residues, dust and water scale;
2) Check the observation window for fogging and clean the sealing silicone strip to prevent cold air leakage;
3) Drain the water tank and replace pure water only (tap water will cause scale and block pipelines).
2. Weekly Inspection
1) Clean the condenser dust filter; blocked filter will lead to poor cooling effect and overload compressor;
2) Check the fan rotation and door lock tightness;
3) Confirm the temperature and humidity sensor surface is clean without attachments.
3. Monthly Professional Maintenance
1) Calibrate temperature and humidity sensors to ensure test data complies with ASTM/IEC standards;
2) Inspect refrigeration pipeline for oil leakage;
3) Test safety protection functions: over-temperature alarm, water shortage alarm, power-off protection.
4. Long-Term Shutdown Care
If the chamber stops running for more than 2 weeks: drain all water inside, keep the chamber door slightly open for ventilation, cut off the main power supply, and cover the equipment with dust-proof cloth.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
· Do not test corrosive, volatile strong acid and alkali materials without customized anti-corrosion inner tank;
· Do not open the chamber door during high-low temperature cycle operation, which will damage refrigeration parts and cause safety risks;
· Do not use tap water instead of pure water for humidification.
